powermax_paul 1 Posted June 23, 2001 We all have that feeling that when we restore a tractor we want it to be 100% original. Well, I use all three of my Powermax tractors and use them hard (so I can restore them over and over again). Because I use them, they should be comfortable. Anyone who has sat on a garden tractor more than a couple of hours at a time knows what I mean. The seats are less than comfortable for more than an hour. When I built the backhoe, I knew that I'd be sitting on that tractor for hours, digging ditches for addition foundations. I ordered a good seat. The seat I purchased is called the "Contoured Industrial Seat" and is available from Northern. It really is comfortable and has a molded lumbar support. I recommend it for any of you guys who have a bad back like I do and have to use your tractors for extended periods of time. A link to this Northern catalog item is attached. MPH 12 Posted June 23, 2001 I totally agree with you on a comfy seat. Because of shipping to Alaska I put a bobcat seat of my B112 when I got it going. Its a caddie, I spent 5 hours with the landscape rake on it and the only sore part of me was my left arm..MPH
