Sorry I haven't been very active on the forum lately, I've been busy farming and planting our garden. anyway, I have a mower deck for a baron tractor and I'm trying to replace the barrings in the spindles. does anybody know were to get the bearings?. I have two spindles apart, but there pretty rusty. the third one won't come apart for me. Any tips or tricks? And also, does anyone know the specs. of the belts for it?. The mfg no. is 1690501 on the deck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought my last ones off of ebay, they were chinese bearings but reasonably priced and work well so far. As far as getting the third one apart, I have always been able to get the pulleys off with a bit of heat, and then a good hammer on the end of the spindle (with the nut screwed on, of course). Steve

You could also try Fastenal. That's where I bought mine from and they were perfect. http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/detail.ex?sku=0474409

Thank you for all your help everybody. I got the last spindle apart and got all the old bearings off. I think I'm going to get all the parts sand blasted. Also, does anybody know the best place to get the belts?
