I just put the mower on the allis the other day. The belt that drives the mower is rubbing on the spacer bar, It has a new v pulley idler on it. Does anybody know what size pulley is suppose to be on there.the pulley was in the box of parts when I got it. The mower was completely apart when I got it. Also the adjuster bars rub on the tractor (wore off the paint on them) I am sure everything is put together correct.Any ideas Bob

From your description I'm not clear on your exact problem. The mower pulley is a cast iron special pulley. The only idler I know of is on the belt that is inside the deck that goes to each blade, I thinking its a 4" pulley. I have just went completely over my 4041 deck and there was belt marks on the top of my deck from its past. Since I reworked the spindles and all the pins and joints they all had some wear/slop the deck is riding much better. The bottom rollers and axle need a lot of attention. The mounting pins aloud the deck to sag and was imposable to raise very high and blade alignment. A pic would really help. Good luck Dan H
