MDB Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Went to mow a building site that had only been mowed one time this year. A little out of control but it has been hard to mow with rain almost every day... Add two Foot Draggers, the 3212H and ever present HB112:D Dan, (Rokon) do you recognise the HB, I think you delivered it to me 7 years ago this week.:D The HB ready to attack the lawn:D 3 1/2 hours later and about 4 gal. gas this is how it looks. Not a perfect job but pretty good for a 43 year old tractor.:D I did all of the mowing with the HB 112 brought the 3212 along just in case I had trouble. Didn't need it....:D
larry8200 Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Nice job, That seat on the 3212H looks like it's off a craftsmen... If thats the case I wouldn't expect it to be a faithfull and reliable backup... :D:D:D
perry Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 pretty tall grass there, looks like the Allis did a fine job. allways a good idea to bring a back up. never know when one of them pesty belts will go on ya ;).

This is the HB-112 that you dropped off on your way to Portland swap meet and then dropped the 48" deck off that we found at Portland on your way home. Here is the 2004 pic.

Chris727 Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 What was the purpose of the house-like building? Farm-workers quarters?
MDB Posted May 22, 2011 Author Posted May 22, 2011 quote:Originally posted by Chris727 What was the purpose of the house-like building? Farm-workers quarters? Yes Chris, 30 years ago or so there were alot of Vegetable crops raised around here. Sugar beets, Tomatoes, Pickles, Potatoes. Now just grain crops and whatever tomatoes are raised are mostly mechanically cared for and harvested.

dentwizz Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I second the baler. Does anyone make or ever made a mini baler/gatherer other than those sweeper with a bag things? It would be neat to bale out these super long lawns after sickling and sell the bales to crafters/decorators:D
