Now waiting on the 7790 diesel to mount the cozy cab and blower to. The new command should be in the sovereign this week! I love it when a plan comes together!:D:D:D:D
Burntime Posted May 22, 2011 Author Posted May 22, 2011 I have to say that I will always have a sovereign but for mowing the foot control is by far better. The landlord goes a little slower then the sovereign but the 54 inch deck more then makes up for it!

OrangeMetalGuy Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 How's the Landlord compare build-wise to the large-frame Sovereign? Does it use a Simplicity-built transmission or somebody else's? Don't know about the foot control... I really like my hydro hand controls. Then again, when plowing snow foot control would make it a little easier to steer/lift/control direction.
Burntime Posted May 22, 2011 Author Posted May 22, 2011 Its a tuff torq 71. Same as the prestige. It also has a posi tab by your heal. If you press it, it locks the rear axle. It does do a good job. I tried it at the base of my hill and mashed the pedal and wheelied! Yep, it works! It is a verticle mount 23hp command pro so hp is not an issue. Of course it is not the same frame but it is none the less impressive. The dealer said they have seen the exact model come in with over 3500 hours and still purring. We will see. It would be 40 years before I got to those hours:D The power steering is smooth as silk too!
