Got a check in the mail for the two engines I submitted. Course after deducting attorney fees and too many folks submitting claims the amount was smaller. The did exten the warranty for a year on the Kohler from March 1st. Of course the coil that went out two months after the original warranty expired isn't covered and the drive pulley I'm fighting with now is a Simplicity issue.sm02sm02

For three engines, less than $11 a piece. Can we imagine what the millions in cost of all the legal tort and payouts? And the only ones that made any real money were the lawyers. The only ones that will end up paying will be every buyer of equipment that has anything to do with the engine manufacturers. What a sad state of affairs. Disgusting.XX(

Class Action suits are a waste of time for the average person. the only one that makes money off it is the Lawyers. They gets millions and you get pennies.

Yeah, I bet they really worked hard and put in a lot of time on it. The only ones who did were the secretaries who had to keep track of the paperwork and made out the big bills!!!sm06sm06sm06

Follow Perry's hyperlink. If your engine is older then a 1994 your chances are two, slim and none.

Ahhhh but yes my young warrior, patience is the key to all things. As we now see, we may in fact be the ones having to purchase the potent and much sought after elixir, as the benefactor of said massive spoils has been found to be the receiver of little gain. Perhaps he will need counseling and comforting to survive to fight another day.........yell

BT, instead of "partying" at these shows you need to be finding me a Sovereign with power steering:p:p:p:p And to TommyK submission was done in 2010sm02sm02sm02

JM one party a year at Hartford, Mountain Dew is my choice. at shows, mostly water or Dew, I won't take chances with minors around, especially with a mounted sickle mower, and I do talk to a lot of minors and sometimes give them rides with them in my trailer. When I get home and all is put away I will settle into a couple of brews.;) As for power steering, I have it on the Sunstar and that is fine. When one comes along at the right price, I might have two with P/S^
