jmhusby Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Got a check in the mail for the two engines I submitted. Course after deducting attorney fees and too many folks submitting claims the amount was smaller. The did exten the warranty for a year on the Kohler from March 1st. Of course the coil that went out two months after the original warranty expired isn't covered and the drive pulley I'm fighting with now is a Simplicity issue.sm02sm02
midnightpumpkin Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I got my check for 3 engines, around $32.00. Like free money, I had forgotten all about it. John U
Brettw Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 quote:I got my check for 3 engines, around $32.00. Like free money, I had forgotten all about it. For three engines, less than $11 a piece. Can we imagine what the millions in cost of all the legal tort and payouts? And the only ones that made any real money were the lawyers. The only ones that will end up paying will be every buyer of equipment that has anything to do with the engine manufacturers. What a sad state of affairs. Disgusting.XX(

Caish Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Class Action suits are a waste of time for the average person. the only one that makes money off it is the Lawyers. They gets millions and you get pennies.
jmhusby Posted May 28, 2011 Author Posted May 28, 2011 Yeah, I bet they really worked hard and put in a lot of time on it. The only ones who did were the secretaries who had to keep track of the paperwork and made out the big bills!!!sm06sm06sm06

When I get home and all is put away I will settle into a couple of brews.;) As for power steering, I have it on the Sunstar and that is fine. When one comes along at the right price, I might have two with P/S^
