These seem to be showing up a little more lately. 2 Questions; Has anyone tried matching the paint yet, and found any close colors readily available? Has anyone duplicated the decals?
Posted
If you take pictures of them decals Corey will make them. Then they will be available for the next guy. The paint you should be able to have matched at any automotive paint supplier. http://www.clickitandstickit.com/

Thanks Ray, but the problem is I don't have one, wanna "make" my own ;);)

Maybe you could talk Perry into sending you some pictures of the decals!:D

If you want to clone one, I would think any close gold color would work.

Perry; Any chance you could get me a couple good pics with length and width dimensions? Would only need the 2 decals, Squire 9 off the side of the hood, and Wards garden mark from the side of the dash panel. I would really appreciate it. Dan

Ahhhh, a clone...... Just remember, these things multiply.

Dan, do you think you might have it ready for the Alexander show?
Posted
That is the idea Jim, I need a couple more "displays". Perry, I sent you a PM. Been looking at the hardware stores, haven't found a gold I like yet, but I'm still looking. :D:D Not sure which tractor I want to use yet, still considering the "options" ;);)

Duplicolor Auto Spray Light Chestnut Metallic #EDSGM352 is the closest I've found in ready to use paint. It's a little lighter and I've only found it available in 5 oz. spray cans. Tom

might be a tad dark, but I like this. Looks better in person, cant see the metallic in the photo

so far thats the only part I painted, just to see the color. It is Rustoleum, Metallic Rich Caramel Its hard to match a paint when you've only seen pictures of 40 year old paint. LOL We'll see how it comes out, probly take me a month or so

I'll have to go get a can and compare it to my Squire 10.

Just a guess but your profile name, does it have anything to do with a Rokon Trail Breaker?
Posted
Close, never had a 2 wheel drive Rokon, but I did ride a RT 340 for a couple years. To my knowledge the only single wheel drive they made, as well as the only street legal one too. It was an enduro (on road / off road) I think it was a 1973, had some innovations that were ahead of their time back then. Disc brakes front and rear, interchangeable front and rear wheels and so on. Dual centrifical clutches, belt drive and pull start :drl:drl And if anyone says a motorcycle shouldn't be in talking tractors, I'll find the advertisement that says they are a 2 wheel tractor &:)&:)&:) They had a log skidder, spray rig and other stuff for them. Pretty cool bikes and I think they are still made in New Hampshire??
