Electric clutch keeps shutting off?

Recommended Posts

Guest
I have a 1989 Deutz Allis 1920 that works real nice. One problem I have begun having is the electric clutch keeps disingaging. I adjusted the clutch per spec to .016" and it did not help. Do I have a bad switch or clutch or? What should I do?

Scooter, Seems like I have seen other posts that say the clearance is critical to the problem you are having. Do a search using the word clutch. I seem to remember them saying to try .016 to .020. Wish my memory was better -- Good Luck Well, I ran the search and found the message I remembered. If u find no other problem then the control module is likely faulty. We replaced 2 this week on 1900 tractors. It is mounted under the right side cover of the dash area. Check it's connections 1st. $89 for new one. Bill
