update for dadsy98-moles

I swear by the castor oil repellent. I skipped the application this spring thinking I was rid of them and they showed up last week and made a mess of a newly planted flower bed. I hosed it down with repellent and the next morning they left a trail straight into the neighbors yard and have not been back since. I buy it in a hose end sprayer attachement that is good for 5K sqft, costs about $15 at home depot.

Hi Steve ! I'll pass on the dog offer. I have two now. Look on the bright side... you have an organic tiller, just feed it and it spreads fertilizer too ! The castor oil sounds like the way to go. I've been told to place castor beans in the runs. also, plant castor beans in the perimeter you want mole free.

Hey, my dog finally caught one of those little $#@#%%@. Only a few hundred more to go. Problem is, the holes she digs are worse than the mole runs! Wanna borrow the dog?
