I picked up a Wards T-14 that had a 12HP Brigs,it sat in a shed for unknown years. I dumped some gas in it and shot some carb cleaner in it and I'll be darned it it didn't start. After the loose mouse nest stopped flying around I adjusted the carb a little and it sat there and ran like it should. I pulled the Eng to day to put in my B-10 and found that the oil pan is part of the frame,so now I wait for an oil pan I think I have one located. Well now I have time to clean it up and lap the valves, and paint it.

I got an engine from a gilson and it had a cast iron starter generator bracket that lets the S/G hang lower on the motor. I used it when I replaced the 7.5 hp 19d with a larger 10 hp motor in my Garden Mark Squire. The S/G now clears the hood without a nasty cut on the hood. jh
