what fits question

There is a 42" simplicity #1690546 rotary snow thrower listed on Craigs List the owner says it fits a 7100 series tractor. I didn't find the mfg #1690546, there was 1690548 listed. I have a 3210V tractor In looking at the "what fits list" towards the end there is some large frame landlords like 3314 etc. Would anyone know if this would fit my tractor with some fabrication/modification?

The actual blower head will work just fine, they are all basically the same. The mounting bracket may be the only issue. Some are a 2 pulley setup that runs off of a front PTO (usually the single cylinder Briggs or Kohler, and directly off of the front crank), the single pulley setup runs off of the center PTO. This is for the 7100 series. I believe the two pulley setup is what you would need, and on the 3210 the PTO "clutch" is part of the blower. I am sure with some fabrication, or the proper mounting bracket, it could be made to work. As I said, the blower heads are the same.

Thanks very much for your help, years ago I had a single stage walk behind blower that basically ran the same speed as the engine and it was incredible as compared to a 2 stage of the same size. I have always thought the simplicity single stage with the torque of these old cast iron singles would be impressive :)

Over a year ago, you answered a question I had about the tool bar for my FDT. In your reply dated Dec 31, 2019  you said the spacer, part #16, goes in the bar to allow for up and down depth adjustment. does this mean the bolt has to be tightened at whatever depth desired or does the bolt slide up and down, allowing the lower hitch to free float?
If it is tightened so the lower hitch and the bar are rigid, then is the depth to be controlled by the shoes? Or by the lift handle?
Is there any kind of user directions for the tool bar? The Outdoor Power Manual basically shows how to assemble the bar but not how to use it
