Pulley reomval from snow blower

I have a 42" blower for a 7100 series tractor that came with a front PTO hitch. I've since replaced that hitch with a mid-PTO and I've noticed the drive pulley on the blower is mounted with the collar facing left with the front-mount hitch and it needs to be reversed for the mid-PTO hitch. This is to position the drive pully slightly left of center for the mid-PTO drive. My pulley is frozen on there. I have the set screw out and I can see the key is centered but I'm stuck. There really isn't a lot of room to hit it with a mallet or block of wood either has the blower housing doesn't give me much room. Any suggestions for getting it off? Would heating the pulley help? Thanks!

Thanks guys - got it. Took some penetrating oil, heat and force (beat it loose with a 3 lb hammer - carefully if there is such a thing with a 3 lb hammer). Cleaned it up, put it on backwards, with the collar facing out and it got me aligned where I need to be. I also had to bend the belt keeper but from what I can tell, those are the only differences in a front PTO and mid-PTO mount. I should be ready well before the first flakes hit the ground. Now, I've got to see if my chains and wheel weights fit.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
