I got my 4211 and my 728 out for pictures today.

I got a set of wheel weights, a rear weight, and two doughnut weights from Dan (rokon2813). Thanks again Dan!

I'll start with the blade this winter and then put this on.

I got all the weight because I'm gonna try to go without tire chains, don't wanna mark up the asphault. I may have to get ag tires for it. Let me know what you think.

Looks like you have it pretty well covered. I don't know if they are still called chains, but they are available in rubber so as to not scratch up your pavement.

Nice tractors & attachments! To push/blow any serious snow you will need tire chains(or cable, rubber, plastic type :Y) However I have a blacktop drive & chains don't hurt mine. but I mostly use the blower & dont spin the wheels much...

Looking good! I saw a 728 at a show I went to last weekend that looked real nice. Original motor, the original seat was mint as well. Not for sale though. I really want one.

Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate the advice. I've got the tire chains and if traction is an issue I'll put them on and see. I don't think wheel spin will be much of an issue with all the weight I have on it. Last time I used the blower was two winters ago and I didn't have any weight (besides myself :D) and traction was a big issue even with the chains. I have the original 8 horse motor, but it needs to be gone through as it burns oil like a forest fire C. Someday I'll get the original 8 horse back in it and get the seat recovered.

Bar chains, (the kind with claws that stick out) are a lot nicer on asphalt surprisingly. I have a set for one and a round standard set for the other and the claw set slips a lot less than the round ones which makes for almost no marring.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
