Improving hydro performance

Taking a hint from Sandy Lake Implements, I stiffened up the hydro linkage spring on my 716H. Instead of solid steel, I split a fuel line, about 2 inches, and wrapped it around the spring. It has a little give, but forward acceleration is much improved. I'll post a picture when my digital camera arrives (leave it to UPS, they sent it to the wrong state!)[A href='http://www.wheatfarm.com']http://www.wheatfarm.com[/a]

I put a piece of 1/4" copper tuing alongside the spring and tie-wrapped it in place. Much better! No run away when turing down hill anymore. Roy
