Thinking about a northeast get together for Oct.

I already have the go ahead from Kent to do a northeast get together in october in Brooklyne Conn.They have a show /pull which includes both farm and garden tractors. If you folks think it's a good idea please let me know. I could arrange for camping and I could cook during the show.It is a nice time of year for a show. thanks Jim V.

That's a great time to do a Northeast get together! I would probably not be able to come, but with the NE Colors, I would think that at least a few midwesterners would. I was hoping that our Rhinelander Picnic would rub off on you eastern guys. You will have a good time as we did (thanks to Dennis McGill). Good Luck! Paul

Jim, Thanks for volunteering to get this all organized. I'm excited to have a gathering in the NE, especially on a weekend when I don't have AF Reserve duty. I've attached a link to the Brooklyn Fair's homepage. While the actual fair is a few weeks earlier, the directions and info about accomodations and such should still be helpful to those who're considering a visit.... This is likely about 1-2 weeks prior to the peak autumn leaves this far south, but it still should be lovely -- if the weather will cooperate... Thanks guys, I am going to try and get in touch with the show organizer and see about camping on the grounds if possible.I would like to set up on friday to greet members as they come in. I'll keep everyone posted on dates times ect.
