Hey im new here :) and im 16 years old and loving the small engines! i just have a few questions about this old T-8 im working on. its in good condition and works great, but needs a carburetor tuning. what are the recommended settings for the Air-Fuel Mixture and the Main jet? Thanks! P.S. its a 11 Hp Briggs and Stratton. (yeah, it got a higher horsepower engine for this tractor)

Hello & welcome... The adjustments are to turn in till lightly seated, then back out 1 1/2 turns for the Main Mixture Jet, and 1 1/4 turns for the Idle Air Mixture. Thats the inital settings then you tweek the High speed & Idle mixture after it warms up. At a fast speed dial in the Main Mixture Jet till it begins to falter then out till it does then go back half way. then set Idle Air Mixture the same way but at an idle speed. then set your Idle speed (small screw on the throttle shaft)to a slow but reliable sounding speed. 600rpm
