Too funny:)... my kid bought a cab off craigslist that the owner of a newly purchsed house found up in the rafters of the detatched garage.:D It said original tractor cab co. on the doors and all he did was change the front brace to put it on his 700 series AC.dOd

:D you know me too well ray. i have plenty of S&G engines. but the 16 i pulled from a gilson/wards has a geared flywheel. just the starter is bad. i may as well see how the 14 kohler runs in the ariens and maybe just drop that in there untill it blows. since well....you know, its a kohler. should last thou if well maintained;). i have only had one other RBT tractor that i used. that was my 3314H and it was a beast. this Allis 914 is good size and looks like it will be a nice blower tractor for this winter. since i recently sold my 3012-blower-cab tractor.

A Bosch relay will save you an ignition switch and then then all you have to do is connect the battery wire from SG regulator to regulator wire of existing harness and you still keep the integrity of old harness.

LOL, yup. Still a nice score. If I had a Briggs 16 I'd drop that in though.

Perry I had a 914H for about 12 years. Traded it for a 1610B Cargostar IHC cabover truck. Never had a minutes problem with the Kohler 14HP engine. Ran good when I got it and still ran good when I traded it. I would put the engine from the Ariens in the 914, give it regular oil changes and think about a Briggs replacement in 2031. Dave.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
