is there a small simplicty under 30inch deck??

Have a sis in Wash needing a mower under 30inches wide,. Did or does simplicty make such a mochine???MPH

The old Serf 525s has 28" decks. They were great little machines. Some of the rear engine riders also had 28" to 30" decks. I'm not sure what else did... I have a Serf 515 with a 12.5 hp engine and a 28 inch deck, itr cuts grass like a champ, but might be hard to find in good or servicible shape anymore since they have not made them since I was born. I do have a Ariens with a 8 hp and a 28 inch cut and know that they are still sold for about 1200.00. I think the cut is OK on the Ariens but not even close to the Simplicity. Todd M. Pewaukee WI

Al, are you anywhere near Wash?? She seems pretty sold on the muching ablity of a cub cadet push model her neibor has, Ive seen several talks on here about mulching ability, do the Simplicty mowers much it up really fine??? been wanting to go though my 42 inch before I mount or I know I won't do it til it enters the cris state so I have yet to experience Simplicty mowing ability. thanks, MPH

Hi, Iam in Northeast Iowa, about 25 miles Northeast of Cedar Rapids. I don't think the 3105 will have power enough to mulch though 21 inch walk mowers are going to 6+ horsepower for mulching. Thanks Al E
