Just picked it up Thursday, got to get a new belt for it, clean it up some, repaint the chute, and get it all dialed in. Carb could use a rebuild as well... Dang I'm going to be busy yell Going to be worth it though to see my neighbors faces when I'm going thru the snow with this old '53 beast. In all going to have the walk behind with the blower on it, 101 with the 36" blower, 700WB with a blower AND my walk behind ariens. I hope that being prepared this year means we don't get any snow! &:)

Pretty cool. Amazing how close the deign is to the late model's blowers. If it ain't broke, don't fix. My kind of engineering. Sounds like you are more than ready for Ol' man winter. dOd

Nice looking Simplicity tractor. I have one of those snowblowers....used it over 5 years ago. Tractor and snowblower worked good in the snow. I made a set of weights to put on the back of the tractor....after awhile the front end gets heavey to lift. Also the handle will break were the clutch lever goes through the handle.
