At a starting bid of $44 it sure is pricey for a FCT snow heat shield! The part is NLA from Simplicity, but several memebers have made their own. If I remember correctly SmilinSam made one from Briggs engine tin. Do a search and you should find others.

I remember seeing one go for about $ 150 on ebay a few years ago. Crazy ! ! ! I won't be surprised to see it go for at least the opening bid.

Fairly uncommon, may seem pricey but if someone buys it then that's pretty much the going rate. Would I pay that? Probably not but then I already have 2!

Not if someone pays it. I gave one away to the guy that bought my 2112. I felt he might need it, and I had no use. Had I known? I still would have given it to him. Sometimes it's about money and value, and sometimes it's about helping out a fellow member.

I got $50.00 + shipping for mine last spring. Anything that is rare or none existent for these old tractors is going to bring decent money and is sometimes worth more to someone than it is to others.

Hi. I do have the drawing, and dimensions of one that was built by another member, If I can get my daughter to shorten her to do list around here, I can get back to building one for my 2110. I plan to use sheet aluminum from my local ACE hardware. The sheets vary in price based on the gauge of the material. Good Luck, Wayne (PM me with your email and I'll send you a copy of the drawing.

I bought some light brackets from this guy. He's basically on my way home from work. It'd be a better deal without shipping, wouldn't it?

Well he has an opening bid... See if it goes any higher. He is actually a little early listing it. If he had waited 30 days I bet he would have got more...
