46" Plow, unknown bracket???

My latest 46" Spring-Trip Plow has a bracket on it that I've not seen before. Looks like it may be for an angle cylinder?? It has good heavy welds. Has anyone seen one? or is it even OEM?

Yes I also have 2 plows without that bracket. I changed my idea that it was for an angle cylinder or liniar actuator because it has no mount on the blade for the cyl. to attach...?
