B210 Tiller Drive assy. help needed

Recommended Posts

I have the parts from a few different sources to make a PTO for a B-series tiller. Does anyone have a clear pic or print of how all the parts go together. I've seen it in a manual but the exploded view doesnt help me see how it looks assembled & mounted. (My 1st FDT) I think all I'm missing is the belt. I even have the drive pully & bracket that fits on the BGB... Thanks .

Thanks guys... Dan the older one is what I have. Thanks for the Pic, that helps... Bob that manual shows how it hooks up to the tractor and even the belts lengths...Thank you. I have the pulley and bracket on the BGB but not the rounded "belt gaurd" piece?? it seems like thats just to keep the belt on when disengaged? Do you think maybe I can just fab up something or does that have another purpose?

you mean the one called belt release guard? Just fab something. 2 wire belt guides would even work. It just keeps the belt close to the pulley to stop it from turning when dis engaged. :D

Bob's drawing is pretty good. The bent end on the tension arm connects onto that piece. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/attach/timflury/Tiller%20Drive2.jpg Here's a good picture.

Thanks guys, thats very helpful. I have the bracket that the rod hooks into. I will make the release gaurd based on Bobs spec's. If not I have some old wire belt guides... Thanks Bob & Tim for the visuals...sm01

Over a year ago, you answered a question I had about the tool bar for my FDT. In your reply dated Dec 31, 2019  you said the spacer, part #16, goes in the bar to allow for up and down depth adjustment. does this mean the bolt has to be tightened at whatever depth desired or does the bolt slide up and down, allowing the lower hitch to free float?
If it is tightened so the lower hitch and the bar are rigid, then is the depth to be controlled by the shoes? Or by the lift handle?
Is there any kind of user directions for the tool bar? The Outdoor Power Manual basically shows how to assemble the bar but not how to use it
