IS THER A SET OF MULTCHING BLADES AVAIALIBBLE FOR A 42" B-1O DECK??

Caution -- the Gator Blades listed there for the 42" deck do NOT fit. I ordered a set and found out the hard way... There supposedly are some that do, but not the ones described on Jack's site. Notice the description: 42" Cut, SunRunner FC & GT Series Simplicity 1656147 15 5/16" (long) They are too long and are also Right Side discharge.... Based on the described length, I'd say the 14-1/2 inch ones listed first would fit -- but it says they're for a 48" deck -- so that listing is obviously an error... I didn't try those.

Rog, If you'll measure your blades and find out that they're 15-5/16" long, I'll give you a good deal on the set I bought. I bought them last fall, planning to use them for chopping up leaves. One thing led to another, and I didn't even try to put them on, nor really pay attention to them. When I was servicing the deck this spring to get ready for mowing season, I went to put them on, and "Oops!" I didn't even try getting an exception to Jack's 30-day return policy, since I'd had them for several months.... Kent
