Fellow Members, Thought I'd share three of my last finds in the last two months. You never know where or when you find tractors you would like to have. 1. Heard a fellow was moving out of state and had a late model B-10 (orignal paint, decals & 42" deck.) $150.00 runs great. 2. A gentleman that works same place as my wife heard her talking with another lady about my "garden tractor addiction", and ask to have me call him. For tuning up a 5 hp. Briggs on a shredder, he gave me a Simplicity 4212 that had sit behind his garage for three years. Had it up and running after 2 hours of cleaning flywheel, gas tank, carburetor, and 1 drive belt. Runs great. 3. When at the dealer buying the drive belt for the 4212 the dealer also happens to handle Cub Cadets. I collect Simplicity, Cub Cadets, Allis-Chalmers, and John Deere. Went out to the shop to talk with the mechanics to inquire if any old 70 or 100 Cubs might be around somewhere. One of the mechanics had a Cub Cadet 122 sitting at home under tarp (rod bearing ticking) Bought complete tractor with deck (excellent shape body, frame & deck) for $100.00 So don't be afraid to ask questions and talk with folks - you'll be supprised at what you find!! P.S. Wifes may complain somewhat but, she tolded me to call him and they really know that a few toys keep hubby occupied close to home. Good luck to all! Marion W. Kerr

A person can never have too many tractors. If you have too many to count you must be having fun.Bob

That is the best way to find them.Alot of dealers take them in on trade and don't want to bother with them.My 710 was sitting in a backyard for 5 years. It took a day to get it running but it is a real strong tractor and doesn't smoke. They are out there,it just takes time.

Marion............. All those tractors and only ONE Simplicity??????????? Get rid of the Deeres and find more Simplicity's. You know what happens when you mix green with orange? The answer can be found in Webster's Dictionary: expel from the stomach, aka vomit!! No offense meant by this humor. Marc
