Engine change wiring

I,m replacing 15hp briggs in a 3415h with a starter genorater and points with a 16hp briggs with electronic ignition and a ring gear starter.Was wondering what wiring must be changed or conected and what must be done with the voltage regulator.Any and all help will be helpful Thanks.
