servuce manual here. (scroll down on page) - http://www.mytractorforum.com/showthread.php?t=469

Something is broken, loose or worn out on your drive assembly/clutch. Look in the manual on page 5-3, When you disengage the clutch, I beleive part #25 should pull back from the pulley, and the pulley may move rearword just a bit, but not 1/2". I would suspect spring #24 is broken or missing. You could tear it down as indicated in the manual. If you don't have good friction material on both sides of the pulley, you will want to tear it down and get new friction pads on it anyway. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mduncan3109-03-2009, 12:56 PM Thanks for all your help I am going to tear it down this weekend. I will post some pics. if I can. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mduncan3109-07-2009, 07:00 AM Tore down the clutch totally the other day, and found out that the splines the yolk slides on were all froze up. We cleaned them up so the yolk could move freely all I have to do now is order new needle bearings for the drive pulley and put it back together.:bananapow -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mduncan3109-19-2009, 10:05 PM Clutch problems fixed! Tried it out today motor feels STRONG!! Going to pull it Oct.3
