Legacy needs weights

Hi, I have the older Legacy without the three point hitch. I am finding I need more weight on the back of the tractor. I looked into a weight bar and weights from Simplicity, but that gets expensive fast. The Legacy does have the snowblower on the front, two sets of wheel weights, and chains; but I still have trouble in the winter. I have seen other member's tractors (not the Legacy) with homemade weights on the back. Does anyone have some pictures of the Legacy with some weights on the back? thanks Rick......

Don't remember what the back bracket costs. It was part of the deal when I bought my first Prestige and I think it can be adapted to fit most tractors. Haven't paid much attention to the Legacy as I don't see any close by. If you are a welder you can make a bar to hang weights on. One thing I might say is I have found a welding shop now thats fairly reasonable and would have one made now and either put a round bar on it and use the weighlifter ones that would drop over it or make it so the suitcase weights would hang on it. Hate to say it but the "green" ones are much cheaper than Simplicity's. The idea is to get the frame or box to hold them and you can use about anything for weights.

Hi Rick, Here is one that I made for my 2001 Legacy, I have about 500lbs of weights. I used the hitch from the bag system.
