-I have been told you can go from the 7" pulley to a 5" or 6" on the single stage blower, and no belt mod. How much does this help for distance? -For guys that have done this is it worth doing? -anyone know the inner shaft size for these pulleys and where to get one? Thanks!

I'm running the 5" pulley on my 42" blower. I've run this set up on my 917H Allis, and my 918H Agco. It works great, easily blowing the snow 30 - 40 feet:D You'll need a shorter belt than the ones for the 6" or 7" pulley.

A 144" belt will do the trick with a 5" pulley. The difference in the two pulley diameters calculates out to a 3" shorter belt. An A-142 (1/2 X 144") belt from NAPA should do it.

Not to say your wrong sir but that's what I think I purchased 3 years ago when I changed mine over from the B112 and I have to have the adjusting pulley all the way to the rear to just get the indicator in the green (circumference difference divided by 2)it sure does bounce around so I'm guessing the full 6" difference may be correct?
