I just want to express my gratitude for all the help,drawings and suggestions.I have joined your club and I hope I can contribute in some small way.By the way here`s somthing thats been a bit confusing to me,I have 2 landlord tractors both are identicle except one is trimmed in white and one is trimmed in black. they look just like the 2 tractors in your new in 66 section. whats the difference?

They are probably different year models, and may even have different HP engines, as the old Briggs evolved from 7 to 7.25 to 9 and finally 10HP over the years....

I'd suggest you get the MFR numbers off the black & silver decals next to the shifter and look them up in the X-reference table.... Then, we can probably figure that out.

Also, you can see when the engines were manufactured using the serial number, but this may not date the tractor (in the case of old in-stock engine, or a replacement engine). See the info in previous posts....
