Picture is a little dark, but this one gang harrow came from a free pile, only required one incidental weld and is in perfect working condition.

heck yeah! I'm suprised what those old harrows still bring at the local auction...seems there's always one on the block.

We used to use one when I was a kid. Would throw a couple cement blocks on it. Drag it over and over the fresh tilled black sand. Wish I had one now always called them a drag!!!

Harrow used for several things on farm: 1. to further order/till/level rough tilled soil; often pulled in random behind a disc 2.Break up clumps of material such as manure, clods of soil, etc 3.Scratch soil in pastures/yards to allow seed/soil contact

we have a 4 or 5 section spike tooth up at deer camp in the barn i may bring a section home. dont use it anymore. we use to pull it in the rye fields with a 69 ford pickup stick shift/390ci engine. ran that poor truck for hours with the drag behind it. then sat on the tail gate and broadcasted rye seed. worked pretty good. up in northern MI you dont want to go to deep. there is not much top soil to work with. here is one i had a few years ago
