that is a beast of a tractor and good price. http://www.sonnysbolens.com/manuals/largeframe.htm 1979 - 1987 The last of the HT series line up. The HT23 received yet one last power upgrade. Now a full 23 horsepower. Also upgraded with a new 2 speed HI / LO range transaxle and Eaton 11 hydro pump. Familiar options from the HT18-HT20 carried over to the HT23 as well. All previous HT attachments will fit the HT23. From mowers, blowers, sweepers, flails, blades, loaders, backhoes, post holes, trenchers, cabs, ROPS, tillers, plows, cultivators...the list is nearly endless! Made for 9 years, this was the ultimate in homeowner outdoor power equipment.

did you see the 'loader' word go by? and methinks these are 'traction pedal' units also. most were. guy by me wants that price for a lesser model tractor only. if it all works, go for it, or make an offer. big demand/resale on attach's you don't want. also sounds like the era of hp wars. hi-lo hydro. sm01

I'm sure someone in either of these two forums would have as much interest in it, or more. Just sayin' http://www.mytractorforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=18 http://gardentractortalk.com/f4-bolens/

Over a year ago, you answered a question I had about the tool bar for my FDT. In your reply dated Dec 31, 2019  you said the spacer, part #16, goes in the bar to allow for up and down depth adjustment. does this mean the bolt has to be tightened at whatever depth desired or does the bolt slide up and down, allowing the lower hitch to free float?
If it is tightened so the lower hitch and the bar are rigid, then is the depth to be controlled by the shoes? Or by the lift handle?
Is there any kind of user directions for the tool bar? The Outdoor Power Manual basically shows how to assemble the bar but not how to use it
