Hi, I bought a 1967 Montgomery Ward Squire 10 tractor and I don't now much about it. I'm not sure if it's the year that simplicity made. So if anyone knows any info on these Ward tractors please let me know.

I don't think Gilson built a Squire 10, and I know Simplicity was making those in the '65-67 era. I like them a lot, and picked up a Squire 9 from Perry last year, which is scheduled for a restoration late winter. I'm collecting bits and pieces right now, and will have a Carry All box redone to match in bronze. They are a neat variation to the round hood machines! Cool find! I know Jace (Simplicity85) had one up there in Maine that was for sale at some point, but in the registry, he didn't provide a serial number. Another way to approximate the year is by the Briggs serial #. My Squire 9 is a January, 1963, I believe.

S/N should be a SIM-990395, I believe. EDIT: This is the model # Here's perry's S/N tag...
