electric lifts.

I've never messed with a vertical shaft engine simplicity. Can anyone tell me, is the electric lift unit the same as the large frame tractors but with different mounts?

No BLT I don't. If I did I could do some searching and find some part numbers. Was just hoping someone might have had experience with both and might know off hand. I have some NOS parts that look like they would convert a 4000, 5000, or 6000 series tractor to electric lift, and the lift from a 7000 series fits in the mount so I was curious

Dan I had a 92 landlord and the electric lift was different from the lagre frame on the lift the tabs were spaced out about 1/2 difference and would of had to turn them 90* if I remember right on that part but seems like it Hope this helps out any

Well, I guess not. I've found a few different part numbers, all the large frame numbers cross to a new number, while the other style shows NLA, so there must be enough differences to not interchange. It was worth a shot I guess. Thanks folks

Over a year ago, you answered a question I had about the tool bar for my FDT. In your reply dated Dec 31, 2019  you said the spacer, part #16, goes in the bar to allow for up and down depth adjustment. does this mean the bolt has to be tightened at whatever depth desired or does the bolt slide up and down, allowing the lower hitch to free float?
If it is tightened so the lower hitch and the bar are rigid, then is the depth to be controlled by the shoes? Or by the lift handle?
Is there any kind of user directions for the tool bar? The Outdoor Power Manual basically shows how to assemble the bar but not how to use it
