I have given some thought to taking one for the team. I think I will remove my cab, blower, weights, and chain and prep and store the same for the summer and fall. Then I will dig the mower deck out of the shed, sharpen blades, grease, prep for the season, etc. and mount on the tractor, waiting patiently with great anticipation. Should snow like a son-of-a-buck then for the next two months or so.

Nothin, anyone? =] We got about 8" here, and now it's nice and sunny. I saw some purdy sights today, but spent the morning tractor-chasing, and my camera in this 'new' phone is terrible. By the time I got home, the melt was hurting the scenery big time.

Finally got a little tractor time... Then figured I might as well start knocking out that new access road on the other side of the property I've been meaning to do; skidding logs through the yard is a little hard on the grass :D The chickens seem glad to get out and stretch after they'd been snowed in. Then it was on to some spring cleaning!

Those last two pics remind me of the remnants of a Weedcutter attack }:) ....cept the leftovers would look more like shredded bark. ;)

These pictures are from a snow storm that blew in last winter. I look at them now, and I'm thankful that we had such a mild winter this year.

We had to shovel this monster drift away from the building first, just so we could slide the door open to get the plow truck out.

The old Ford had to earn her keep this day for sure.

This was all from one weekend snow storm.

You West Michigan guys might remember this storm from last year also. I live just two miles from Lake Michigan. Here where I live out in the middle of a farm field, it's not so much how much snow that I get, but all the drifting from the snow that we do already have.

Yeah! Even complete with the Bicentenial plate! Yeah, we can get 2" here, but I still have to push 8" out of the drive. The wind is always worse than the snowfall 8)

It might just be me and my tired-ness but it looks like a set of tracks underneath the bronco. Far left side of the pic. One of those set-ups with all four hubs having its own individual set of tracks and roller frames.
