dlcentral 1 Posted July 19, 2001 Carb.and gas tank/fuel line possibly has dirt//sludge in it.When taking apart to clean be careful as there is an internal jet[brass] that has to be taken out up and under the lower left main jet screw assy.or the carb will not separate. These are some times very hard to get out.Good luck with it. MikeES 415 Posted July 19, 2001 Make sure the gas tank is vented. You could be starving the carb for fuel.
ka9bxg 3 Posted July 19, 2001 Does it spit and spudder, slow it down and runs good? If so sounds like a bad coil or bad spark plug.I have had a few bad coils this year.I checked the spark out on the old coils and it looked good on a spark tester but you can not see much at that speed.I bought all my coils from John Smith good price and good service.Bob
