No they are not the same. The ones on a 7100 series are a sealed beam and reflector and the ones on a 5-6000 series are a housing with a 1157 blub. Hope that answers your question Bob

Thanks guys. It would appear that there are a set that are incorrectly listed on e-bay. They are shown as for a 5-6000 series, and they appear to be a sealed beam and ring, identical to the 7100's. As long as I can buy new at NAPA, I would obviously go that route. Thanks again.

Bob The later 5-6000 tractor had seal beams. Had one on the other day. http://www.simpletractors.com/simplicity/new_in_1983/5116_features.htm

Has any one found a way to rework headlights on a 1070 Landlord with the four light system? I can not find sealed beams 3606e bulbs for this tractor

Pastor, also checkout this post which shows the alternative lights that I installed in a set of the buckets to replace the older NLA bulbs. The headlight tubs that I have did not have the bulb receptacles in them, so I had to do something a little bit different. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=91771&SearchTerms=lights

To find info on the four light headlamps from the soveriegn tractors, type" 12 volt halo BA15D "into google you will find pages of the bulbs that will fit,you can now get led bulbs as well but they're pricey.

Sorry Brett, we shouldn't have let your topic be hijacked like we did, especially since nobody had answered your question. I could not have answered the question, since I have never had a 5000 or 6000 tractor, and have never worked on or even been around one. Rod

I actually was looking for some T3606 bulbs and had the hardest time finding them. I actually just found a great equivalent. Check these guys out: https://www.interlight.biz/ I couldn't initially find what I was looking for, but gave them a call (219-989-0060) and they found it.
