this fall while using the powermax 4041 , tilling, i noticed it would pop and snap backfire and such... i would push the clutch pedal in and the unit would calm down... i have an electric fuel pump on it... i have the power lead hooked directly to the coil... can this cause an issue... pulling to much power away from coil??? thanks chris

Hello Chris, When your tractor does this is it smoking at all? if it does take notice if the choke is wondering back to the closed position. It could also be your high speed needle could use a 1/4 turn in that it is getting to much fuel, also check that that your points gap is .020 in the breaker ponts box.
