bgb strength?

If you are planning to pull with it. the pullers will have to tell you how high of a HP and how long does it last. The angle gears are cut to run counter clockwise facing the input shaft. I would imagine you can run the gear set the other way and again I don't know how long they will last.

Of the stock BGB, transaxle, axle tube, and differential in like new condition are durable in that order. The BGB capable of handling 40+ hp, while the diff and axle tube have to be in perfect condition to handle 40hp. All of the tractor pulling with these tractors, I have never seen a BGB fail, but I have seen a key sheared in the transaxle, and I have experienced a broken axle tube, solid axle, and several destroyed diffs.

I've seen the differential fail first on some Simplicity pullers. The guys just fabricate a steel sleeve and weld it in place of the gearset. Now you know we are going to want to see some pictures of your progress/plans.;);)
