Mower blade direction

I have had this happen to me more than one time. Do not feel bad about getting the belt on the wrong direction. Maybe you can consider cutting a discharge shute on the other side and sharpening both sides of the blades ;-).

Thankfully my 716H came with a sticker on the mower deck showing how to route the belt.[A href='http://www.wheatfarm.com']http://www.wheatfarm.com[/a]

Help!! I just bought a 3112h with lots of cool attachments. Drove 12 hours to pick it up, when I got home I ran it over the lawn to see how nice the lawn was going to look an..... looks bad! Barely cutting at all. After some inspection on this full restored jem, I notice the blades are spinning the wrong direction!!!!! Can anyone help?? Kirby

Check to see if the deck's drive belt is twisted in the same direction as the one shown below. Sounds like it is not, and you'll need to take it off and reverse it ... http://www.simpletractors.com/images/mower1_ops/figure3_small.jpg

Backward turning blades are considered a annual rite of spring at our house.Audrey ,my favorite B210 operator, always needs a good laugh after a cold PA winter, but I usually fail to see the humor. Jim
