Ive come across this sovereign and just cant make out the model from the pictures. What is it and from someone with more knowledge than me....what is missing from the rear drive at a glance. Is the shift between your legs for a lift?. I can't really read the numbers either but I would say 3415 S Shuttle shift, 4 gears on the shifter and forward and reverse on the side handle. Looks like the entire internals of the bevel gear box is missing as well as one side plate. And the E-brake linkage.

I second Dan's opinion. Variable would be different as so would a hydrostatic. Looks like a good parts machine to me! Never been a shuttle fan due to the whiplash effect of going from forward to reverse at full throttle in 4th gear!:D Running engine would b a bonus!

Didnt even notice the bevel box empty. Well it has a complete 16hp engine, one that was running hasnt been started. I saw the fuel tank and thought it might fit my 7116?. Those green 16's are off of old Mayrath Grain augers. I have had 2 or 3 of them over the years and they were all good runners. Should be good as long as the owners kept the air cleaners changed while it was augering grain.

Are you thinking about putting it together? I have a rear half of a shuttle from an Allis a little newer than yours. I split it at the front of the bevel gear box and placed a hydrostatic drivetrain from a later model trade in . I think the PTO clutch is still on. I have used the axle and diff of of it. Are you shure that is a 36" deck ? Should be 42" or 48" . Ken

Neil, Think thats the Emergency brake linkage. Looks like ill be giving this one a miss as its heading over the $200 mark. Be interesting to see how much it eventually goes for.
