Did Sears ever sell Simplicity tractors

Recommended Posts

JohnSw
This spring I bought a front plow for my B-210. It was a Simplicty with a Simplicity number on it. I recognized it by the way it mounted ( kind of distinct ). Well the guy said the tractor was a Sears and he gave me the lift lever too that was a bolt on job. The tractor had been painted over and I think I bought the best parts for $40.00. I am just curious if there are any Simplicity parts hidden under the Sears name. This could be a new area to search for treasures ? Does anyone know ? Thanks, Al

For many years Roper was made in Kankakee, IL. A few years ago everything went south, Alabama I think and now are a part of American Yard Products, which still produces for Sears. Murray also makes a lot of stuff for Sears. Bob
