I have an electrical question to ask. My battery is not charging, all my wires are wired correctly and my generator works, so I've come to the conclusion that my regulator may not be working, so I took the cover off and there are points in it, just one. I cleaned them and started the tractor up, the points were not moving, if anyone would happen to know how those points should open and close I would appreciate it if you could get back to me, thanks.

Try grounding the field terminal on the gen. for a test of the gen. if this test shows high charge the reg is at fault. Cal
