Finish Mower for Power Max

Recommended Posts

I bought a 4041 last year which was in pretty good condition. Has 60" deck, front snowblower, and rear tiller. Someone nearby has a finish mower that attaches to the rear hitch 48". He told me that it was used with a Powermax. The Power Max has a 2000 rpm rear PTO. How do I determine if this mower also is geared for this? Or is there an adaptor that goes on a 2000 rpm to convert it to 540 rpms. Or were there some rear mowers built with 2000 rpms? Thanks for your help. Rick

Run the 60" in mid mount. If everything is in good shape and your front tires are matched diameter , it will cut very smooth and without lines in your grass. There is info in the service manual on how to set up the mower on the tractor for optimum results.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
