6118 tiller, what else does it fit ?????

Recommended Posts

I sold my 6118 and the buyer didn't want the tiller, so know it's going up for sale. I looked the tiller over and didn't see the typical Simplicity ID tag. Its 32in wide and I have the mount, lift handle, pully's and turnbuckle adjuster. What else does it fit ? What's the approximate value as it sits ? Thanks all for that help. F&F

Mack
Check here for fittment. http://www.simpletractors.com/what_fits/atch_(pg_55).htm Sorry, I cant help you with value. Not as desirable as a 36" tiller for large frame tractors but I'm sure if you put it in the classifieds someone will show interest in it.

I looked the 6118 tractor up in the what fits section. It takes a 1690388 Hitch for the tiller. The reference calls for a 30" tiller with a no. of 1690393. Just my 2 cents. Hotwire

Any idea where they measure from to get the 30in width ? When I measured I went from the side of the orange shroud to the other side of the orange shroud, or should have I measured just the width of the tines ?

yip, 4,5 and 6000 with proper hitch and rear internal pto pulley... i have sold a lot of these tillers at anywhere from 175 to 350..they are a little harder to find so if it is in nice shape and works great with no issues i would try to get 300 out of it or more as now is the optimal time...its a 30 inch tiller also...hope this helps!

I have a prospective buyer who is considering my tiller. He owns a 6512.5 and his dealer told him that only model number #1691277 will fit his tractor. Per above posts, I have told him that it will fit all 6000 series tractors but his dealer insists that it won't fit and the only option is the #1691277 Anyone know if mine will fit ?

parts manual for the 1691277. Compare it to yours and see if they are the same. http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCBEN8apHYrE6Cvh5kbp796Dq http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCBEN8apM4rE6Cvh54bp796Dq http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCyEN8crF7rE3Cvh5kbp796Dq
