Light Identification?

Curious if anyone konws the brand or application for this NOS light. It came from an old Allis dealer, but it doesn't give a brand anywhere, and the lens/bulb is a GE, like those I've seen used as replacements on the Guide's. It is the same diameter as my Guide's, but very slim and with different mounting and bezel.

I really like that Bob! I was expecting a rear work light, but got this instead, so I was either wondering if it was something for another application, or something I'd consider modifying. I think a trip to Radio Shack is in order...it would make a real neat rear light for one of the machines, thanks!

If you are talking about my thread, I left a bill of material in the posting.

It looks a lot like the rear light on my Sovereign. Don't know who put this light on the tractor. Was on when my dad bought it in 1985. These lights could have been basically an off the shelf thing, too.

Nice lookin Sovy! Yeah, hard to tell on the light, so I thought I'd ask. Looks like no one knows, or at least it's nothing special. Kinda a bummer...was really hoping for the NOS rear Guide work light I expected. Either way, I think I'll take it Bob's direction, and add it to one of the working machines. It will likely see most of it's use in the fall for late evening leaf retrieval, and snow duty in the winter.

That is likely off/for an old Gleaner combine - I have seen that style light in salvage yards. It is thinner than the correct Guide brand light that the Simplicity and AC garden tractors used in the 1960's, but would still look good on an old tractor - has the right "style". Tim

I'm not too worried about getting it mounted up, just was curious what the heck it was. I'll stick it on a worker...kinda got hosed on the purchase, as it was supposed to be a Guide.
