Stopped in to the TMeyer shop in Fairmont yesterday. He told me he just inked a contract to become Simplicity Dealer! Great news for us southern MN / northern IA simplicity nuts!

SmilinSam - you got it right, Sherburn is close by. Thanks for the welcome, Wayne! He says large amount of green lawn & garden equipment around here, has his work cut out for him! Glad he's here, will try to give him some business.

Speaking of dealers I can see why a Simplicity man has difficulties with the green! Last week I had the need to travel from South St. Paul to Hastings, MN and you pass a JD dealer and a place thats supposed to be a Simplicity dealer. Simplicity dealer didn't have a Simplicity sign out just Ferris and someother things they sell. Just a few used machines in a fenced in area. The JD dealer had a lineup along the front of their lot and down the side with everything they sell and the best of the used ones. I would have to ask--if you were in the market for a tractor, not devoted to any brand yet, where would you stop?ngr2ngr2

Glad to hear another dealer has decided to pick up a great product line such as Simplicity. Hope it works out for them, since selling outdoor power equipment is tricky business with the big box stores around. I personally would rather spend a few extra dollars to support my local dealer who has been in business since 1935 selling A-C, Deutz-Allis, AGCO, and now Simplicity, rather than buy mowers from the big box stores. Just my opinion!:D

Talked with TMeyer today; last week he had a loaner from a nearby dealer in an outdoor display - a top of the line Simplicity Legacy with loader. Said he had numerous inquiries and interest has been high - even though he doesn't have much in inventory yet! Hope he does well; he's a hard working, good family man with his son as small engine mechanic. In the other part of the shop he does modifications to racing engines. Wonder if my Broadmoor will come back home a little souped up????

I still think Briggs & Stratton should floor plan a Legacy for every dealer. You vary seldom see one when you stop at a dealer. I would bet that most dealers would sell it before the Summer is out.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
