If you are just swapping the transaxle, you will need to remove the driven varible pulley from the transaxle and get/make a straight pulley. This pulley would need to be about 8" diameter to be workable for most jobs. There is a key on the input shaft fairly close to the hub. You can either leave the long input shaft on the transaxle or you can cut it off.
