Swapping engine with hydrolift

Recommended Posts

I swapped out the engine in my 2110 hydrolift tractor today and was pleasently surprised to find the bolts and driveshaft hold the hydrolifts drive pulley in place just fine. And there is enough room on the battery side so I didn't have to even loosen the pump. Was simple.

And apperently there was a premium engine line from Briggs and Stratton, the donor tractor is a B110. LOL, just kidding.

The more you do it the easier they get! I think the HB112 is the only one of mine that hasn't had the engine out. I must say the RBT are much easier to work on since you can access everything from underneath. You might have to loosen the three nuts on the Hydrolift to get the new engine in; I think I had to when I put the engine back in the B210. Knowing you you'll have that tractor cleaned up and painted before that engine even gets back in:D. But good luck post pics when its done.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
