Anyone have a part number or a source for a 3" Tiller Drive Pulley? Yellow B-10 just got a tiller and needs a drive pulley. I thought McMaster-Carr but an not sure which pulley. I know it is a 3" pulley but the bore size?

There is a place up on the web, Phoenix MFG. I have gotten pullys from them. But I always check at the local TSC, Farm and Fleet, Menards kind of places. We also have a couple of local True Values that cater to the Farm crowd. Just make sure you get the right width v groove also.

All you gotta do is go their site and search on 'v belt pulley'... They have every size you'd ever need. http://www.mcmaster.com/#v-belt-pulleys/=h1os0b

Go into electric motor section of any farm store. They should have all sorts of pulleys. And when you check out groove size, it should be a "B" width which equates to a 5/8" belt.

Yes the bgb shaft is 3/4 which is why you want a pulley with a 7/8 bore in order to slide over. I went to TSC and called a simplicity dealer and struck out. I ordered from Phoenix mfg and they are in Horicon, WI which isn't to far from me so the pulley will arrive by Thursday and Yellow B-10 will be tilling before he knows it. Thanks for all the help. Here is a link to what I ordered; https://phoenix-mfg.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=19&category_id=32&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=56&lang=en I ordered the 7/8 bore. Correct me if I am wrong

Ray's indicating it needs to be 7/8 bore, and BLT and a few others are indicating 3/4 bore. Evidently one of them made a typo, I'm just not sure which one. I don't have my tractor here to measure mine, but for some reason 3/4" strikes in my memory. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to definitively clear up the confusion. If it's 3/4" bore, I think you need one like the top one listed on this page: http://www.mcmaster.com/#v-belt-pulleys/=h1rgbk

After my last post I did a quick search. It looks like you asked this same question a couple years back, and Mr. Flury provided the answer: http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=112570&SearchTerms=tiller+pulley

You know I thought I asked this question and I was asking this time on behalf of Yellow B-10. I couldn't figure out how to search past threads and was in a hurry. So glad the members here are patient and helpful. I did order the correct pulley! Thanks all.

The bore size on the tiller side of the driven shaft is 7/8 inch. The opposite side that the transmission pulley is on is 3/4 inch or .781" one or the other. I have a couple pulleys and a half dozen or so of the driven shafts.
