I'd like to know also. Not to run a tractor on propane, but to convert my 10HP Briggs cast iron generator. With gas being what it is today, expensive and goes bad due to ethanol, I'd really like to convert. I have found a company who sells kits to do that but $150+

Last year I saw a photo someone posted of an original LP conversion on a B series machine. The picture was taken at a show, and I'm not even sure it was on this site. I've looked and looked, but cannot find it. The tank was mounted over the hood, and it was a very interesting setup. I know to run off LP you must overcome obstacles imposed by the change in compression, potential intake icing due to the cooling affects of the LP gas, etc, but this is only from similar discussions I've read on the topic.

There is another member here that posted pictures of one on a Simplicity last year as well. I believe he was from Wisconsin. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=118518&SearchTerms=lp,gas
